Sham. Wow.

We’ve entered the final days of the 2014 legislative session, and bad things are moving fast.

Very early this morning, the Missouri Senate approved the GOP’s partisan effort to restrict Missourians’ right to vote through a sham early voting resolution. Don’t be fooled by this resolution – it expressly targets the citizen ballot initiative with language nullifying any other early voting law. Moreover, HJR 90 limits early voting to just 6 days, prohibits weekends, and appears to limit the available times for voting to business hours.

It’s clear that we’ve got to unelect the extremists who push these lousy bills, and help get folks in office who want to build a Missouri that works for everyone.

Are you in?

You’ll hear more from us on how we can accomplish that together in the coming weeks.
