KS Budget Crisis Continues, Rex Sinquefield Still Wrong

Remember when Rex Sinquefield put Kansas Governor Sam Brownback up on a pedastal

Rex wrote, "The Show-Me-State now has real data, made available from our neighbor to the west, which can be used as a reference this coming legislative session. It’s now up to Missourians to create the best tax policy for our own state’s economic growth." In a way, he was right. Given the evidence, Missouri would be wise to learn from the disaster unfolding across the border and reject those risky Kansas-born tax policies.

And the budget crisis in Kansas is only getting worse.

Politico:

Republicans once idolized Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback as a tax cutting superstar — now he’s a lesson in what not to do.

Indiana Senate Majority Leader, Brandt Hershman addded, "It's a cautionary tale on a national scale."

Mother Jones:

Brownback might have held on for a second term in office, but his dream of becoming a trendsetter for his fellow Republican governors is no more.

Sorry Rex, looks like you were wrong.
