Craig Volden, Professor of Public Policy and Politics at the University of Virginia, and Alan E. Wiseman, Associate Professor of Political Science at Vanderbuilt University, have put together a study on the legislative effectivness of Congress, coined the Legislative Effectiveness Project. In short, it summarizes a lawmaker's ability to introduce, advocate, and get legislation passed. Here's how Missouri's own represenatives faired in 2011-12:
